Busan - Citadines Haeundae Busan Review

At 7:30 am, we arrived tired at Gimhae Airport after an one hour delay red eye flight. Gimhae Airport look like China in the 60s. It is chaotic, with plenty of people running around in a hurry and carrying boxes of goods. It is very different from Incheon Airport.

After claiming our baggage, we took to the Exit at Gate 3, crossed the road, and went onto take the Gimhae Light Rail. We topped up T-money (minimum is 5000 won at the machine) and took the escalator to the platform.

Gimehae Light Rail is very new and clean. It reminded me of Yurikamome to Odaiba, Tokyo. The scenery is really nice and you can see the farm land of Busan. It is very different from Seoul.

After an hour or so taking the metro, we've arrived at Haeundae Station in Busan.

Citadines Haeundae Busan is located at Exit 7 of Haeundae Station. We were informed that there were no twin beds available because the hotel was fully booked.

Arrangements were made and we were given a twin bed room at 8F. The rooms at Citadines were smaller than expected and it cost an extra US 28 to book a twin room of the same size.

Television is available. One thing we particularly like was floor heating at this hotel. It provides a good night's sleep.

The kitchen area provides sink, microwave and kitchen cutlery for those who wanted to cook their own food.

There is a desk inside the room. USB charging is provided in case you forgot your USB charging cable.

The showering facilities were decent. The shampoo and shower gel were small in size. You may need to ask for extra if you shower a lot during the summer.

There were plenty of dolls at the lobby. Overall, it is a convenient location to take the bus. It is also close to the metro station and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. We had a pleasant stay for 4 nights in this hotel.
